The State minister for Energy and the Okoro County Member of Parliament has advised people of Zombo and the country at large on COVID-19 to follow the preventive measures recommended by Government.
Hon. Eng. Simon D’Ujanga emphasized that people should “wash hands with soap and water, keep a distance of 4 metres , avoiding crowds and not touching the face with un washed hands among others.
D’Ujanga says it’s unfortunate that two Chinese nationals out of the four who passed through Zombo tested positive for corona virus.
He says he is glad that the Zombo health team and ministry of health officials have taken samples from people who came into contact with the Chinese.
He also advised the people to adhere to the Presidents directive of avoiding public transport. “I know this though is likely to be hard to implement in the villages, but let’s be responsible,” says D’Ujanga.
