ZOMBO POLICE STUCK WITH UNINDENTIFIED BODY OF SUSPECTED ROBBER

ZOMBO.Police in Zombo district are stuck with unidentified body of a suspected car thief.

The victim was killed by an angry Mob during the wee hour of Friday morning at Jupathombu village, Oturwang ward Paidha town council.

It is alleged that the deceased attempted to steal a Hummer vehicle parked at Makutano Hotel in Paidha town council, Zombo district.

According to the Chairperson LCI Jupathombu village Grace Ocorcen, he was informed about the incident and he immediately reported to police who visited the scene.

An eye witness, said the deceased and his colleagues at large smashed windows and screen of the hummer vehicle then later ignited its engine. He adds that the night watchman on duty made an alarm which attracted residents who intercepted one of the suspects and killed him instantly.

Zombo Police have not yet commented on the matter as they were recording and documenting the scene of the crime.

The body was conveyed to Paidha health Centre III for postmortem.
