Pakwach District has bid farewell to Deputy Chief Administrative Officer Acen Florence, who is transferring to Obongi District after three years of service marked by teamwork, mentorship and improved service delivery, according to district officials.

During a farewell ceremony at Pakwach District Council Hall on October 26, 2026, Chief Administrative Officer Canon Jesca Onngiertho praised Acen for her hard work, commitment and role in supporting district staff.

Other district officials and staff described her as a disciplined and approachable leader who treated employees equally. District Vice Chairperson Gidaga credited her with contributing to improved District Service Commission performance, accountability in the Parish Development Model and timely reporting to the Ministry of Local Government.

In her farewell remarks, an emotional Acen thanked the people of Pakwach for welcoming her and making the district feel like home. She is expected to report to Obongi District this week, where she will continue serving as Deputy Chief Administrative Officer.d
