GREATER NEBBI. Boys have performed better than their female counterparts in Greater Nebbi in Primary leaving Exams (PLE) according to the results released this afternoon by the Uganda National examination board UNEB.

In Zombo district, a total of 51 candidates passed in division one, out of which 35 were male candidates and 16 were females.919 candidates passed in division one out of which 626 were male and 293 females. 

Friget Primary school emerged the best performing school in Zombo district with 17 candidates having passed in grade one, while  Paidha Model emerged the second with 13 candidates in the same division.

Zumbo Lower had 5 candidates in division one, Okeyo Primary school had 4 candidates in division one , Oturganga boys, Atyak and Mvuranyi Primary school had two candidates in division one.

Adhinyi primary school, Aripa primary school ,Konga, Zombo upper, Demon primary school and Outurgang girls each had one candidate in Grade one.  

In Nebbi district, a total of 91 candidates passed in Division one out of which 18 were females, while a total of 1508 candidates passed in division one out of which 1026 were boys and 482 girls. In Pakwach district, 75 candidates passed on grade one of which 58 were boys and 17 were females.
