MIGERA: Five people have died in a fatal accident involving a Scania bus belonging to Califonia Bus Company at Migera Town council along the Kampala Gulu High way.

According to the Public relation officer for Savanah region Sam Twineamazima the accident which occurred this morning at around 4: 30 am also left 24 people injured.  

Twinemazima says that preliminary information indicates that the California bus which was coming from Gulu side heading to Kampala direction rammed into a broken-down motor vehicle UBC 209A,it further went ahead and knocked vehicle number UBK 688C ISUZU DMAX killing the four passengers in the bus  and injuring the 24.

He says that the bodies of the deceased have been conveyed to Nakasongola Health centre iii mortuary for postmortem examination.

He further says that one of the deceased has been identified as Muwanga Alex, a mechanic that was repairing the broken down fuso.
