NEBBI. One person has been confirmed dead and two others critically injured in a fatal accident last night after Tricycle commonly known as Tuku Tuku collided with Bajaj Motorcycle at Alego trading centre, Parombo sub county, Nebbi district.

Urwonimungu Edwin, an eye witness and a resident of Alego trading centre, says the occupants on the Bajaj Motorcycle never saw the Tricycle hence causing the accident.

Damian Katwesige, Nebbi district Police Commander confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as Martin Okwaimungu 34, Accountant Pakwach district Local Government while two others are yet to be identified.

Pakwach district chairperson Robert Omito Robert Steen described the incident as unfortunate.

He added that preparations for burial are underway as they wait for Postmortem. Efforts to get a comment from Traffic Police officer Nebbi was futile at the time of filing this story as he could not be reached on phone.
