NEBBI: Nebbi Municipality Member of Parliament Hashim Sulaiman has donated uniforms to choir members of Nebbi catholic cathedral.

He handed over the donation of Over 62 uniforms to the beneficiaries at Cathedral Hall on Wednesday to the Vicar of Nebbi Cathedral, Monsignor Jackson Osiga on behalf of the choir.

According to Monsignor Osiga, the donation was timely since it has been their biggest challenge, especially during holly masses.

“We urge other politicians to emulate what Hashim has done so that they get blessings from God, said Monsignor Osiga.

Meanwhile the legislator said he is committed to extending an helping hand to all religions without discrimination.

He appealed to the choir members to make good use of the uniforms to glorify God. Meanwhile Gilbert Otwikende, the choir master of Nebbi Cathedral Parish said it is very rare for a politician to donate uniforms and other things to church choirs.
