Alur Kingdom has intensified efforts to engage its subjects living in the diaspora, with a key focus on encouraging them to invest in their homeland.
According to the Kingdom’s Spokesperson, David Rupiny, the initiative follows a recent visit by the Alur Kingdom’s Deputy Prime Minister, Vincent Ocaya Orach, to the United States, where he met Ambassador Patrick Oyulu, the Kingdom’s Royal Envoy to the U.S.
Rupiny said the visit was primarily aimed at mobilizing members of the Alur diaspora to participate in investment opportunities back home.
Beyond attracting investors, Kingdom officials noted that the visit forms part of a broader strategy to strengthen ties between the Alur Kingdom and its subjects abroad.
Discussions reportedly centered on the implementation of the Kingdom’s strategic priorities, including ways in which the Alur diaspora can play a meaningful role in the Kingdom’s development agenda through partnerships, investment initiatives, and cultural preservation.
Alur Kingdom Prime Minister Prince Opar Lawrence Angala declined to divulge further details about the visit.
However, spokesperson David Rupiny expressed optimism that the engagement would foster stronger relations between the Kingdom and Alur communities living abroad.
