ZOMBO DISTRICT LAUNCHES REHABILITATION OF 11-KILOMETRE ZOMBO–WARR ROAD

Zombo District has launched the rehabilitation of the 11-kilometer Zombo-Warr Road to enhance connectivity for the predominantly agrarian community.

Civil works will start at the border of Zombo Town Council and extend up to Warr.

District Engineer Isaac Ngagenu stated that the three-week project will include installation of culverts and grading and murruming critical bottlenecks,

During the launch, Zombo district LCV Chairperson James Oruna Oyullu urged residents to support the initiative.

The district will spend 95.6 million shs to rehabilitate the 11 km Zombo–Warr road within a three-week timeframe

Zombo Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Festus Ayikobua encouraged the community to use the improved infrastructure to boost agricultural productivity.

Zombo District Woman MP TOPISTA Acamfua called for extensive community oversight, whilst Ora county MP  Grace Kwiyucwiny commended the work.
